One of my Hobbies: Making Ornaments

     Hello everyone!  I enjoy creating things.  So, I thought I would tell you about one of my hobbies.
     I create wooden ornaments.  I both cut them and paint them.  Sometimes, I even draw my own designs.  This little guy is particularly cute for this time of year.

     I have been known to personalize them and give them as Christmas gifts.  These were the first set of ornaments that I ever made.

     Not all of my ornaments are painted.  This customized truck ornament was a gift for a baby in a trucking family.

     This activity was one that helped me get my confidence up a little.  When my husband first got me my scroll saw, I didn't have a clue as to how to use it.  So, we got some plywood for me to practice.  We just drew any old shape for me to practice cutting out.  Then, I decided it would be fun to cut out ornaments.  So, that is what I did.
     Thus far, it has only been a hobby.  I have mainly given my ornaments away as gifts.  Although, some day, I might like to sell them.
